The TRS Parents and Expectant Parents Weekend Workshop gives you an opportunity to step away from the day-to-day stresses of your life to focus on deepening your relationship as a foundation for raising happy, well-adjusted children.

The Relationship Studio:
What to expect

• A safe and confidential environment where there is no blame and no shame

• The company of other couples who are parents or expectant parents

• Non-threatening approaches to understanding yourself and your role in your relationship and your family

• Actionable tools that will help you communicate effectively and approach parenting in a more confident and collaborative way

• A highly diversified mixture of adult education formats:
--- Short lecture, video clips, music, guided imagery, re-romanticizing exercises, demonstrations, and communication tools
--- Private time together as a couple to practice what you’ve learned, using issues that are real to you
--- Voluntary sharing of insights and experiences

• The equivalent of six months of couples coaching or therapy in one 20-hour weekend workshop

COST: $695 per couple for the 20-hour workshop. Also included are two workbooks, beverages and snacks.

Other things you should know:

• Dress is casual. Be comfortable. You may even want to bring a pillow

• Both members of the couple must attend the workshop

• Beverages and snacks will be provided

• Lunch on Saturday and Sunday will be on your own (a chance for on-going communication inspired by the sessions) and are not covered by the workshop fee

• Deposit of $200 is required with registration

• The balance ($495) is due one week prior to the workshop

• Special Offer:
---Registrations made 3 or more weeks prior to the workshop date will receive a $50 discount on the total cost of the workshop.

• Cancellation Policy: If cancellation is made more than 8 days prior to the workshop, a refund of the deposit will be made, less a $75 administration fee.
If a cancellation is made less than 8 days prior to the workshop or if you fail to attend or to complete the workshop, the deposit will not be refunded, but can be applied to a subsequently scheduled workshop.
