"Here we have a tool to empower us as a couple and a freedom to control it among ourselves, and not depend only on a therapist/patient mode."

"The gentle way of bringing us to a new awareness of communication. A ‘how-to’ that we can use ourselves. The gift of empowerment."

"The chance to take time out for ourselves as a couple."

"The opportunity to get close to the difficulties we’re experiencing and the realization that there’s a really positive way forward."

"The practical approach with theory and exercises."

"The chance to spend time working on my relationship in a safe and dedicated space."

"The opportunity to be truly heard and my needs validated and empathized with."

"The openness, honesty and willingness to share by the other participants. Also the new hope given by the tools."

"The safety to express myself to my partner in full."
"The creation of a secure environment to work in with my partner."

"How much feeling and actions relate to my childhood wounds and hurts and how I act out on them."

"An increased experience of how my experience of childhood impacts on my intimate relationship with my wife. The tools made available which will facilitate us going forward."

"How to conduct dialogue without confrontation."

"How to “listen” and “receive” in intentional dialogue."

"That what difficulties we are experiencing as a couple are normal. The skills, for example, Intentional Dialogue and Behavior Change Techniques to improve our relationship. That we have already come a long way."

"To dialogue using the tools and talk about issues we could not previously discuss."

"I didn’t know how wounded my husband was and how I was causing that wound to remain open and unhealed."
